Doin Different Support and Resource pages

Doin Different: New Ballads from the East of England is a collection of 39 ballads on East Anglian themes. The ballads are written by Gareth Calway but he's had a wealth of help from friends in the spoken verse and folk music field - and here's a starter, with just a few of the links you can follow. We'll be adding more as soon as we can - but the starting point is the book, which you can buy from your local bookshop or order on-line by clicking Doin Different: New Ballads from the East of England.

You'll find further pages of resources by using the menu on the left of this page.

Here's some general links to start us off:

Anto Morra has already released a CD of some of the ballads - and here's his interpretation of Yarmouth Visited (A Bingo Blues). Off to the seafront at Great Yarmouth with Anto Morra.

And it's Anto again singing Half God Half Nelson live at Cecil Sharp House!

Gareth gives out with The Ballad of Kett's Rebellion at Hanse House, King's Lynn, for the book launch.
